Definition for allergy:

Allergies are hypersentitives to substances, such as pollen, food or animal hair, which ordinarily would do no harm to the body. The response to these antigens, called allergens, usually includes some degree of tissue damage. 

Prevention or managing allergies:

For managing or preventing allergies one should begin in the early childhood itself.

  • A child must be allowed to get in contact with natural elements like earth, dirt, animals, plants, physical contact with other humans, and the like. This should occur before the allergy has developed.
  • Thus immune system will be adaptable to the these kind of allergens
  • Allergic food should be avoided
  • Contact with the animals where one gets allergy should be avoided.
  • Keep the surroundings clean
  • Using of cleaners, soaps and cosmetics with unnatural additives should be avoided.
  • Foods, drinks and snacks with unnatural additives should be avoided.
  • Exposure to chlorine and other chemicals daily should be avoided.
  • Medicines should be taken properly with proper care from the doctor.
  • A common way to block the allergens is to take histamine and prevent the symptoms occurring when the antigen get into the body.
